b) have the financial ability to make house payments including taxes and insurance;
c) have present housing that is inadequate or dangerous:
d) presently live OR work in Wood County;
e) are willing to assist in the construction of your home and, once in your home, maintain it.
To apply, complete and return the enclosed application and Authorization and Release Form. In order to verify your income and credit history, you will also need to furnish us with:
a) credit reports from Experian, Trans Union and Equifax credit bureaus. All three can be obtained at no cost on-line through the following website: annualcreditreport.com;
b) a letter from your bank verifying that you are ineligible for a conventional bank loan to purchase a home;
c) pay stubs from the past two (2) months;
d) copies of the last two years income tax returns with the W-2s.
The Family Selection Committee will review your application materials and if you qualify, a home visit will be scheduled. At that time you will be required to ask three people to send reference letters to us.
